Challenged to turn a dollar store item–jumbo playing cards; from a cheap-looking package to a high-end one. The design of the high-end packaging is fun and bright. The pattern on the box is to pay homage to the classic card game Go Fish. The fish pattern was designed to look like other foods to further enhance the playfulness of this design. As well as, to stand out amongst competitors on the shelves. The voice of the brand is sarcastic and has a little instruction card inside of the packaging that adds this playfulness. The whole point of cards is to have fun playing existing games or making games up with friends, family, or even solo. This was at the core of designing these high-end playing cards.
